Education and training

Our interventional radiologists participate in the Staten Island University Hospital residency program in diagnostic radiology. The first three years of residency training include a rotation in interventional radiology where residents benefit from the expertise of our team of physicians.

Advanced medical training and technology

Interventional radiologists at Staten Island University Hospital collaborate with other doctors to determine the best course of treatment using image-based diagnostic tools. These tools include CAT scans, ultrasounds, and fluoroscopy. Our residents are devoted to helping patients achieve better outcomes with minimally invasive therapy.

Treatment experience

Residents in our interventional radiology program benefit from working in a facility with a full range of treatments. We see patients for dialysis, percutaneous biopsies, PICC placement, intrathecal chemotherapy infusion, varicose vein ablation, and many other types of procedures. Contact our program to learn more.
