At Staten Island University Hospital, we offer developmental and behavioral services to support optimal childhood development through the early identification of problems. Assessing children ranging in age from newborn to 16, with follow-up visits for patients up to 21 years of age, our services include evaluation, case management and medication for a full range of behavioral and developmental conditions, including:

A collaboratve approach to evaluation
Our team includes a board-certified pediatrician, specializing in neurodevelopmental disabilities, nurse practitioners and psychologists. With a compassionate, down-to-earth approach, we offer comprehensive evaluations using the most advanced testing and work closely with other subspecialists to ensure your child obtains an accurate, thorough evaluation and the best options for referrals.
Education and training
Education and training occurring at the facility includes graduate medical education offerings and various GME programs.
As part of the hospital’s pediatrics training program, we offer residents and medical students a variety of educational opportunities.
