At Staten Island University Hospital, the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology is focused on providing the best possible care, with specialized inpatient and outpatient care for young patients, ages newborn to 18, with endocrine disorders. Conditions we treat include:

A team approach to care

Our multidisciplinary team includes three pediatric endocrinologists, as well as nurse specialists, nutritionists, certified diabetes educators, and other sub-specialists. Together, we provide comprehensive diagnostic services and therapies, including:

  • Specialized endocrine testing—Onsite endocrine stimulation testing
  • Newborn screening—We are Staten Island’s only designated New York State Newborn Screening Referral Center for thyroid disorders and congenital adrenal hyperplasia
