We’ve reimagined the labor & delivery experience at Staten Island University Hospital. Our all-new Gruppuso Family Women & Newborn Center adds 50,000 square feet to our facility and is equipped with advanced medical technology to ensure the safety of you and your baby.
Our staff is proud to be part of New York’s most experienced OB team, including skilled obstetricians, midwives, nurses, physician assistants and anesthesiologists who work as a team to care for you during this special time. Plus, we offer a range of services, from routine prenatal care and education to high-risk pregnancy management, obstetric anesthesia consultations and neonatal care, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

What are the visitation guidelines?
Visitors are welcome to come and support their loved ones. They will go through a security process and will check in with our patient experience team. After verifying their identity (a government ID is required), they will be directed to the waiting area.
What are the visiting hours?
The Gruppuso Family Women & Newborn Center visiting hours are 8am-8pm, seven days a week.
How do I navigate parking when I arrive at the hospital?
Parking is conveniently located in front of the Gruppuso Family Women & Newborn Center for a rate of $7/day.
Do you offer valet services?
Yes, we have additional valet staff and services for the Gruppuso Family Women & Newborn Center.
Is there a specific number of loved ones I’m allowed to have remain at my bedside?
Our patients are allowed to have two visitors remain at their bedside.
